About Us

Rotheroe Hemming launched in 2020 with a aim to provide everyone with a beautiful garden.

Gardening is part of the family, Jacob Rotheroe Hemming learnt from the best (his grandad). After completing a masters degree in History, Jacob realised his passion for gardening and community garden projects. With years of experience under his spade in private and public gardens, Jacob takes inspiration from the Northumberland landscape and Japanese gardens, . creating gardens that give back to nature, that look beautiful and that are fun to explore.

We are an ethical organisation and do not believe in using pesticides. Everything we grow is organic, using our expert plant knowledge to grow the right plants in the right places.

We also believe in gardening for mental health and social cause and frequently work with our customers to teach them how to look after their own gardens so that they can also enjoy the skill of gardening. We also teach those with learning disabilities how to garden working with various charities.
